Medical Imaging Consultants developed the IA2000, an expandible DICOM archiving system for images along with study routing algorithms and Oracle or mysql database management. The IA2000 solution is licensed to and marketed by Imaging Archive International.

In addition, we can offer the following solutions to an institution's imaging needs:

  • DICOM editor - a tool that resides on a Windows PC that will allow a user to edit information in a DICOM header when required for correcting patient information on some or all of the images in a study. This can be required when a patient changes her name or if all or part of the study was mis-labeled.
  • DICOM POD system - this system isolates an imaging modality from the common network to protect the modality from unauthorized access while allowing a vendor network access for service and upgrades. In addition, a POD can be used to isolate required systems in a private network that can operate during a disaster with only emergency power needed.
  • CD Reader - this system reads CDs from outside institutions and inserts them into a PACS archive. The system validates the content of the CD and allows a user to edit information on the studies (such as the medical record number) so that the studies will comply with an institution's rules.
